Newcastle High School’s Charlie Bowles, in the 120-pound weight class, fought hard in round one of the consolation bracket last weekend at the 3A State Wrestling Tournament, but fell to an Evanston opponent with a 28-10 record in the second period. The loss ended the season for Bowles.
